Graduating end of fall quarter - Cal Poly Pomona and San Luis Obispo University Forums

Hi, if a senior graduates at the end of the fall quarter, let's say this year, are they class of 2006 or 2007? and is the year and date written in the diploma? thank you for your time.

your Dipolma will reflect the year that you earned your degree. If you graduated Fall of 2006. Then your diploma will read 2006.

If I finish all my units in Fall 2008, the degree will say 2008 but if I finish in Winter quarter, diploma would read 2009? Can I find an image of how an actual diploma will look like? Thanks alot.

Yes exactly. The date on your diploma will be the last date of finals that quarter. I don't know if you can find an image online of a diploma. You might try searching google images. But again, The date on your diploma will be the date that you technically graduated, not when you walked.
