Graduate and Professional School Day

Graduate and Professional School Day
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona Campus
On the "Quad"
Friday, October 10, 2003
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

On Friday, October 10, 2003, the Golden Key International Honor Society will host the 11th annual Graduate and Professional School Day on the Cal Poly Pomona campus.

Graduate and Professional School Day will commence at 10 a.m. on the University Quad, and the event will run until 3 p.m.. Representatives from over 90 different universities and programs will be available to all students who are interested in attending a graduate or professional school. These representatives can provide you with applications and information on their universities and programs.

As you would expect, there will be a wide spectrum of programs and universities to choose from.

The state of California will provide more than half of the participants. This will include multiple graduate programs from all of the University of California system and the California State University system. Add to this U.S.C., Loma Linda, Claremont, Pepperdine, Loyola Marymount, and a number of other private universities along with many law (Hastings and Bolt), chiropractic, psychology, and health programs and schools and, the state will be well represented.

A large number of out-of-state universities are now making Cal Poly a regular stop. Visitors to the Graduate and Professional School Day may find Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Tufts, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, Miami, Hawaii Pacific and Michigan, to name a few.

Internationally, the North American Center for Australian Universities, St. Georges and Ross will be represented.

For additional information, you can contact the Program Coordinator, Dr. Andrew J. Thacker, the Golden Key adviser, and a professor in the International Business & Marketing Department. His phone is 909-869-2443, and his office is in 94-245.

Good luck to all who are applying for graduate schools. That's a long list of universities.

Never expected Ivy Leagues coming to our campus.
