Cal Poly Golden Key Needs your Help.

Once again, Cal Poly Pomona's Golden Key chapter is hoting its annual Guardian Angle Project (our chapter's main, philanthrophic event).

In order to make this year's Guardian Angel Project more successful than ever, our "golden" members, officers, and sponsors are tackling this project with full force. We are asking that all clubs, students, faculty and staff members at Cal poly join us in this effort in order to make this holiday season a memorable one to hundreds of needy children.

Project Guardian Angel was created in order to show over 300 abused/abandoned and/or needy children that people do care. This takes months of planning, including the collection of donated toys, school supplies, and other gifts for these children who are in great need. Last year, Cal Poly Pomona's Golden Key chapter worked with the El Monte/South El Monte Emergency Resources Association, and we "adopted" 12 families and 63 children for the holiday season. The culmination of last year's Guardian Angel Project ended in members of our Golden Key Chapter personally distributing gifts and sharing uplifting stories with our adopted families and children. In addition to these personal visits, our Golden Key chapter provided over 3,389 families! Finally, along with all of the visits and the collecting of donated items, higher education is emphasized, and it is demonstrated to be a crucial medium for the children's future success.

On behalf of Cal Poly Pomona's Golden Key chapter, thank you for your ongoing support of Guardian Angel Project. At the same time, we invite you to participate in this special event once again.
