 | free tickets on first class day just got word that students in classes of dr. james swartz's marketing classes will get free tickets to the county fair and the angels baseball game with the oakland a's. he is doing some projects with them and talks them into giving students free tickets. the classes are ibm 307 and 499 and last time i look there were open seats. |

| TRUE....but do not take his class he is an asshole.........I had him in the summer and he grades pretty hard. He makes you participation in class so therefore you must read the chapter before class. He makes you feel stupid. He gives you weekly quiz and OMG it so hard nobody got a pefect score. Do not take him unless you plan to having a bad grade. Quote:

|  COOL!!!! I heard about that sports class and it is totally cool!!! They get all kinds of people who come in from all kinds of teams like the Lakers who give talks. My girlfriend and her sorority sister both got A's and said it was not a hard class at all, only one test for the whole quarter. I think they're doing a project with the Angels this time so maybe that's why the free tickets. This guy also does a movie class that is fun. You get to pick the movies you want to see and do projects on them...a dorm friend took that one and got a B+ without working very hard at all. |

|  details on free tix!!! i just found out that his sports class is the one where the whole class is going to the angels game with the athletics this weekend.  and then they get a tour of the stadium with the angels vice president.  thursday the teacher says they have the marketing director for the ucla bruins coming to talk to the class!!!  that class is tues/thurs at ten. his other class is the one where they do the same thing with the county fair. i think that class is the same day in the afternoon. my sources say as long as you prepare for class you get at least a B.  and at least you will have fun rather than wish you were watching paint dry.  i am going for it!  |

why not sell the tickets you have for a proft and go with the class for free? You might find some homees in the class or some cute chicks! And Arte lowered beer prices!!! I might drag a few extras in who are in other majors and don't need the class and make a party of the weekend! KayCee got it right...it's worth checking this one out--unless you're really wanting that philosophy of moralism class really bad  | |
