![]() | Thread involves Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Thread moved to the Network forum. Are you really serious about camping out the entire quarter? And I don't think anyone will let you sleep for free in their private property. |

![]() | well, unfortunately not all of us have mommy and daddy to pay for our college education. I have saved up enough money from jobs for the first year, but I'm gonna be broke when next fall rolls around. anyways i rather save my money for climbing gear and gas money so i can travel. and it's not like i'm planning on being a recluse in my little tent, I only need a place to crash... |

![]() | That is unfortunate of you. Do you receive financial aid, scholarships, college grant, student loan, and other aids? Planning to find a part-time job while attending school? It should not be difficult to manage your finance and find a place to stay. Why go to the extreme? And like I've mentioned, "I don't think anyone will let you sleep for free in their private property." Find a vacant parking space and sleep inside your car? |

| Newcomer | Chain convenience stores don't mind if you sleep in their parking lots..(going wiht the sleep in your car idea) I don't know if they have these out in Cali - but Meijers, or krogers, or K-mart. When my grandparent's roll around in their mobile home, if they are along they highway they will camp in the parking lot of one of these places and its completely legit. iKwak has the right idea though - yah, pay for college your self but do it when you can afford it and you have a fulltime job after college. If you don't have scholarships or grants get a student loan. There is no way I could do my first year Out of state tuition without a student loan. |
