Free Bus Rides to UCLA Game Thursday!!!!

it's time for all true Broncos to STEP UP and show some school pride and spirit!

ASI BEAT is paying for bus transportation over to the mecca of college basketball Thursday, Pauley Pavilion, in addition to paying for half of the ticket price.

Bottom line--you get a round trip there AND a ticket to the game for LESS than what it would cost you to park anywhere on campus.

you forgot to point out that the tickets are available in the games room of the student center for five dollars each. don't know if they check for student ID or not though. who knows?

This is going to be a good team this year. LAKDOD you may call it about right, 22-5 and then a big playoff run. "Hall" you are a pessimist.

The reason why I called you a loser is because this site shouldn't be used to bash players. These players are student-athletes and human beings! They are not in the pros so there is a big difference! So I feel that by calling you a loser, I'm very much justified to do so, because you just sit there and criticize(d) Mr. Malone all the time and even made comments about how he's announcing volleyball games and speculated that he's signing autographs and kissing pictures of himself. YOU need to just let it go, have respect, and until then I will NEVER get off your back!

Call me a pessimist all you want, but 22-5 will not happen. 22-5 will rank as one of the best teams in CPP history. So you're saying this team is better than the 04-05 team or better yet the 02-03 team? I'll let you be the judge.

That was my prediction Hall of Fame not xiaoxue. In my dreams I see this teams going 22-5 but honestly the team will probally wont reach that number, but I am still sticking with it. By the way I do not think this team will be as good as 02-03 and 04-05 team. Those team had some great talent and it will be hard to match those seasons, but I think this team has chance to be as good.

wow, i had no idea. am sure they are trying to sell season tix and not this game but what a shocker.

anybody have any ideas on starting lineups for the two teams?

The lineup for UCLA will probally be
PG Daren Collinson
SG Arron Affallo
SF Josh Ship
PF Luc Richard
C Alfred Aboya
or at least that will be there opening game lineup.

just a guess....

PG...billy hoffman who will be totally outmatched by collison
SG...deon cook who may be our best player but is no affalo
SF...larry gordon who actually may show how good he really is in this game
PF...melvyn if fully healthy but lost in a mismatch
C...baby shaq will not have the power or speed to keep up

i see larry and deon having some flashes of stardom but also turnovers against a quicker team, billy hitting a couple threes and bias and booker getting some minutes on the big stage. in terms of pure talent the closest contest is at small forward unless coach k. switches neon. the real intrigue will be to see who on our five really can ball with these guys. somebody may surprise, perhaps one of the two stud freshmen.

just way too much talent differential so consider this game nice for the history books and the experience of our being at pauley and for ben and coach k. to run some plays as bruins run away with it by twentysomething points.

Am not sure Billy can match up with anybody's speed. Collison and Affalo will eat his lunch. Has anybody seen Pulido play? Can he slow them down?

The story in the Poly Post says we won't be in it. How come you guys don't think a Moute won't start? He's a preseason all american and will have his way all night long.

Luc Richard is his first name and I put him at PF. His name is so long that I just shortened it.

and mata, another possible all american, not likely to play.

it's almost like playing the lakers. they do serve beer at pauley, i hope?
