Financial aid award

Has anyone received their financial aid award? I have not so i was wondering. I f i get no financial aid this 05-06 cycle i'll be f****d. Thanks for your response.

I got shafted this year....... apparently it seems like they calculate your FA from just your income, without any consideration where that income goes (since my dad is self-employed and times have been rough recently, and on top of that, being self-employed here in CA requires you to pay extra income tax). I could always appeal to the aid office though.......

How much was your income? So your 2005-2006 award is nada?

Between $60k-70k, however, the majority of it goes to something unknown to me. However, I have no clue if my Cal Grant award is still valid.

Is it true that your earnings of financial aid decreases every quarter?I never earned financial aids during my stay due to the family income.

My friend said that his financial aid got decreased every year.

It's not the aid that decreased, it's the fee that increased

Do you mean physically received the award as in getting a check in the mail? Or do you mean getting the award amount that is indicated in your BroncoDirect account? I was awarded a Stafford loan, should I have gotten something in the mail already as this post is implying?

I meant the award that is indicated in Broncodirect. Yesterday I went to the financial aid office and they told me my FAFSA is still being processed. They are processing the FAFSA as they were received in the FA office. The checks are usually mailed one week before the quarter starts. By the way, what was your EFC?

Does anybody finally see their financial aid online???? Now i'm getting nervous as I don't see ANY fin. aid. and the deadlines are approaching...

I was worried too but I just got mine yesterday!

Just call again and u'll get an email when it goes thru. One of my friends still hasn't gotten their's yet tho.

I still haven't recieved my financial aid...it is still in 'award access not available'...and I tried calling them a billion times which results in on hold for a long time with no reply or a machine simply saying 'goodbye' and hanging up....am i s*****d...u know with payments due tomorrow and all...
