I'm not too sure how long it will take for both exams. However, I wouldn't worry about the exams too much. I thought the exams were pretty easy. I'm sure you will do fine. Here is a link that will give you more information about the ELM and EPT. Good luck. http://www.csupomona.edu/%7Eacademic/testcenter/elm.htm.

IT all depends on you. How comfy are you with standardized tests? I only had to take the English one, and it was pretty easy. I put NO effort into it, and I passed. Dont party too hard the night before. You cant screw this up, or college life will be hell! Remedial classes are not good at CPP.

The english one took me no more than 2 hours. I cant remember if I had to stay and wait for all to finish, or if I got to leave when I finished. I think I left when I finished. I know that much. You are asking about ancient history my friend!

Good luck,
