Electrical engineering teachers

How much do teachers that have a Dr in electrical engineer make? Most of the ECE professors I see dress like bums.

haha...so you determine a persons wealth by how they dress?

doesn't always work that way... ...though it is a good indication of their sense of style/taste...

Did you notice the footnote: Those salaries are for an academic year. That means if they work another job (often consulting) then they are easily over six figures.

I dont ask that our profs wear anything fancy, but something other than cut-off sweats and worn out shirts would be nice... Style is one thing, but looking like a bum is another.

If the professors don't stink, I don't mind if they wear the same suit all week.
And for the electrical engineering teachers, they probably have other plans with their wealth.

Check out the CFA website (you can find it on the CPP website, under "administration" I think) and there is a breakdown of how salary is computed... Goodness why would we put all this brainwork into technical majors when we could play volleyball and get paid just as well... HA!
