![]() | Electives I have a question here. I'm majoring in business and there are support cources required of all business majors and they are STA120, EC201, EC202. It says on the catalog that if i use any of them for General Education, electives will be increased by four units per cours up to the unit maximum of 12. But what if i do not use STA120 for General Education? Do i have to satisfy the GE for B1? Can it be another AREA? ALSO, if i already took a class in B2. Can i take another class in B2 as an elective course? Or does it have to be in another area? and also, how many electives do we have to take? THANKS! |

![]() | Isn't Statistics 120 required for ALL business majors? It may be required as a prerequisite for other business classes. You can take other math class besides STA120 to fulfill Area B1 . will continue with this post. Last edited by Admin; 08-15-06 at 04:12 PM. |

![]() | Check the Online Catalog and meet your College Advisor Quote:
The unit of electives you need to take depends on your major. Look in your curriculum sheet and on the Career Emphasis Programs page (back of the sheet), Group B is the Career Electives. Should be around eight units. And Group C is the Restricted Electives which are about seven to ten units. In your case, the restricted electives can not be in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or Statistics. | |
