we'll i just finished the quarter w/ him, and i'll give my synopsis on him:

Grading: 10% is of homework... we got 8 homeworks
30% quizzes: we got 3 of them... so do the math.. 10% a quiz
30% midterm
30% final

He lectures ok... he really knows his stuff, but for the homework, RARELY did he ever SHOW how 2 do it BEFORE ITS DUE... after we would turn in the homework, THEN HE WOULD REVIEW IT AND SHOW HOW IT DONE , so meanwhile, we had 2 guess and ask other ppl how to do the hw (it's not too bad, just investigating... but i feel its his responsibility to teach us what he's goin 2 give us hw on). for quizzes, he just checks if you got the right answer... duzn't give partial credit unless you ask him and show him that you deserve xtra credit (that part isn't too bad).

The only way IMHO i feel the way 2 pass the class is to get the hw's, quizzes, and midterms from someone who previously took the class and study off of that. That helped me ENORMOUSLY!!!!

He is pretty cool and he will help during his office hour or after class ends, but a terrible teacher... duzn't teach too well, but good lecturer... he shows he knows his stuff.

For lab he NEVER performed a lab 4 us to show us how something is done... some ppl look like they naturally know how 2 do it so thats how me and my lab partner went by... asking others for help... we also asked Kelly, and he never hesitated 2 help us... i would have thought that after the 12th time he'd get tired of us asking him 4 help... but like i said, he's real cool when you ask for help... HE EVEN HELPED ME DURING MY LAB FINAL ... but that's called Kissin Ass

one more thing... he gives xtra credit for research and if you do your hw real neat.

overall i wouldn't take this teacher again if it were my 1st time, but since i already took him, i know his teaching methods, his xtra credit, and how 2 do all the material in class, it shouldn't be hard 2 get an A in the class anymore.
