The Dream Is Alive! Broncos Win Again!

wow, what a game!
our broncos seem to be flat most of the game and looked like they were done for the season. then with about four minutes left they seemed to play defense at long last and took care of business.
broncos beat san diego 56-53.

the miracle season continues. tritons had a chance to win it with the ball and the shot clock off, down by one. that's what we finally played TEAM DEFENSE, and the result was a dunk at the other end.

jboyd turned a near turnover into a twisting left handed layup with about a minute to go to bring our troops back.

nice crowd, about 1,000 noisy fans with two bands playing.

now san bernardino sat nite. more heroics?

nice balanced scoring game but as you say our men were a bit flat.
boyd led scoring with 12, with cook 11 and daniels 10.

this team just does not seem to play a game unless it is close.
can you believe this team? it once again shoots better from long range with guys in their face (54.5%) rather than standing still at close range doing free throws (50%).

this sort of stuff keeps it close and drives the fans crazy doesn't it?

This team has drove me crazy. The Broncos played decent for 39 min and then played there best ball in the last min of the game.

How about this Sonoma lost to the hottest team in the conference Cal State Stanislaus. That means we still have an outside shot to share the CCAA crown if Bakersfield and Sonoma lose two more games in the season. Bakersfield play Monteray tommorrow and @ chico and Stanislaus. While sonoma host Chico and play @ UCSD and San Bernardino. Its highly unlikely that Bakersfield will lose two of there last three, but I can see Sonoma losing two.

here are the key games for sat nite:

fairbanks at anchorage. we want fairbanks to lose.
humboldt at c. wash. we want humboldt to lose again.
nazarene at seattle. we want nazarene to get road upset.
chico at sonoma. we want a chico road upset.
monterey at bake. we want a monterey road upset.

of these games the first two are likely. if we do our business and those two teams lose we are ranked for sure. if we get even one road upset all the better.

now let's make them coyotes REALLY howl!!!!
