what are the dorms across the Engr Building called?

i heard the brick buildings are shaggy

and that the dorms across the Engr building is better

they are newer

there is one dorm right next door to the president's house that is the newest in that row of about nine dorms. can't remember which is which but there is encintas and palmitas and others with that kind of theme. you can literally leave your room and be in class across the street in two minutes...and no parking woes!

You've been told a lie. The dorms across building 9 is Palmitas, probably the worst dorm to be in unless you like to play risk, talk about star wars, and computers. Any of the brick dorms are way better then the cement ones.

just your opinion, nate. i have friends in palmitas who like that techie culture. if you want the french club move down the street.

I stand by my statement/opinion. Worst dorm building ever. Doesn't the Poly Post do a yearly poll of which are the best dorms that the residents rank. From what I remember my Freshman year, Palmitas ranked last along with Cedritos next to it.

i don't live in the dorms but...

sometimes i eat in the cafeteria.
wow, the food really has improved with far more choices.
i have heard encintas is pretty good.
suites of course are best but hard to get into.
