| Active Member | It's a hit or miss. If you're really serious about academics and stuff, you probably want to avoid the dorms because they're usually filled with freshmans trying to live the "Animal House" or "Van Wilder" college lifestyle so distractions are almost common and you have to deal with drunks. But it's not all bad. You get to meet lots of people and make friends. Ummm... that's the only advantage I can think of. You get to stay in a cramp room, you either get one roommate or two. The room (brick or cement building) is barely suitable for 2 people. Roommates are a hit or miss. You either get along with them or you barely talk to them. |
