Dorm Question

I already got accepted for a dorm and I'm pretty sure my buddy from my HS is going to be my roommate, but how do I know which dorm I got into to? I remember having to pick my top 3 and I was just wondering how to find out about which one I'll be staying in. Also, how is the first day of school going to work out? Do we just go to the classes scheduled for that day or what? One more thing, I remember hearing about a program where you move in the sunday before classes to help you get used to everything, does anybody know about that? Sorry about all the questions I'm just an incoming freshmen.

I've been hearing that people have been receiving their room and roommate notification in the mail.

First day of school, you go to classes. DO NOT MISS THEM FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. After that, you should buy books.

Moving on Sunday thing is Welcome Week. You pay 85 bucks or something like that. You have to sign up before the deadline. Check the housing office website for more info. Since I'm too lazy to actually look up the website, go to Cal Poly's website and search for Housing and it should bring up the website.

Ya just follow ur schedule on the first day of school. If you don't go to class, you might be dropped.

slikrthnuravg23 and to other freshmen: not all professors drop the students who are not present on the first day of class. So if you miss the class on the 1st day and planning on dropping the class, be sure to drop the class through broncodirect or the phone. DO NOT expect the professor to drop the course for you.
