![]() | just got home from the gym...wow, what a game! broncos led almost wire to wire and beat the first place team in the league, 77-72. way to go guys! neon dion was simply unstoppable. that dude is like magic--he can play anywhere on the court and can score. he lit it up for 27 big ones sat nite, scoring almost at will. and while jboyd had a quiet eight points, freshman larry gordon was all over both backboards and had a highly impressive 15/11 double-double. he, too, was virtually unstoppable. coach has finally figured out that gordon must get major minutes. he had hervey on the bench much of the game and the outcome shows his wisdom. hervey is a total non factor on defense...he got beat on almost every play by his man. billy had a decent nite but got his bell rung. he need him back. melvyn, yeah in a funk like hervey. now the final road trip of the year. the guys are hot and i think they still have a shot. go broncos! |

![]() | I agree with everything that xiaoxue said. Deon had another monster game and Larry right now is a double-double machine. One thing I noticed is that the refs in the CCAA really hate Pomona. There were so many bad calls in the game. I was afraid it was going to be SB all over again with Sonoma winning the game thanks to the refs. The win might lead the Broncos back into the top ten in the West Region rankings because the 7-10 rank team in the west all lost this week. The 4 game road trip is going to be a big test for the Broncos as the first game they have to play is against the first place team in Bakersfield. |

![]() | Bake is 15-4 with 8 straight wins the roadrunners are red hot. to beat them in their huge arena with a likely crowd well into the thousands will be the best sign that the broncos are for real. i gotta believe larry starts this game. his play is the most energizing of anybody on the team. if gordon, boyd and cook all have decent games this one will be a classic. as i recall broncos have won 7 of the past ten meetings between these two traditional powers. bake has won more national championships than anybody. |

![]() | Bakersfield game might be the game that will decide the tornament future for the Broncos. If the Broncos beat Bakersfield who is currently the 4th best team according to the NCAA div II West Region Rankings the Broncos will control its own faith. If they lose in a close game they will still have a chance but have to win out and need help from other teams. If they lose bad there chance to make the playoffs is bascially done. Hopefully the school will brodcast the game live because I want to hear the game. I just saw the new Regional ranking and I do understand how the Broncos are not in the top ten yet because of all those bad loss during there bad losing streak, but how the heck Sonoma the team we beat last weekend move up one spot to #3 while Bakersfield who won all of there games last weekend including a win against # 8 San Bernardino. If Broncos win both games this weekend they will get into the top ten. West Region Ranings 1. Seattle Pacific 2. Western Washington 3. Sonoma State 4. Cal State Bakersfield 5. Chaminade 6. Alaska Fairbanks 7. Seattle 8. Cal State San Bernardino 9. Humboldt State 10. Grand Canyon My Rankings 1. Seattle Pacific 2. Western Washington 3. Cal State Bakersfield 4. Chaminade 5. Alaska Fairbanks 6. Sonoma State 7. Seattle 8. Cal State San Bernardino 9. Grand Canyon 10. Humbolt State 11. Cal Poly Pomona |
