![]() | 10-4 guess i am just wondering how students in san luis can do as many internships in such a small town. you guys up there have a great faculty and outstanding facilities...just too bad the campus could not be in some place like san jose where there are more jobs and stuff. Quote:

![]() | Personally I have spent time on both campuses and I as well applied to both campuses for the fall 2005 school year. If I were you I would opt for San Luis Obispo. It is a much more difficult school to get into and tehre are many more things to do there on a regular basis. Due to Pomona's location (which is prime if you have a car) there is not a great deal of night life, unlike SLO where you can find something to do almost any night of the week. I myself if was able to choose between the two schools (I only got into Pomona) would much rather attend SLO. Good luck with your decision. Just be happy you are able to choose! :0)

![]() | yes, SLO is the MOST selective campus in the 23 campus system, and pomona is second or third depending on who you ask. pomona must admit ppl with lower scores from its immediate "service area" which includes a lot of bad high schools that don't exist around san luis. i too would pick our northern branch except for one alibi--we have all the job prospects and internships within a half hour that don't exist anywhere on the central coast. so it's a tradeoff. | Active Member | SLOOOOOooooooo...go to SLO...it has a really nice campus and a very friendly environment. the first two times i went there it was boring because it was on holidays and nobody was there. but the third time i went there (didn't go to open house though...went to the campus tour instead), it was so warm and i can definitely imagine myself there for my next 4 years...lol i really loved it. besides it'd be so cool to have a student from michigan. i already know someone from oregon's gonna be there this fall...hehe (well i don't know him...i met him online) but yea. well good luck with your decisions ![]() |

![]() | am envious of you girl...you guys have a good football team and we don't even have one at all. going to those games should be fun...but we have awesome basketball that you guys don't have at least not recently. el corral is a terrific bookstore with all kinds of fun stuff and check out pismo beach...it is soooo close to campus! ![]() | The number of people graduating within 4 years is dwindling nowadays........ especially since both campuses have a quite a large number of "super-seniors." Personally though, I don't want to spend my entire life in school. ![]() Quote:
![]() In any case, this board can use some more SLO members..... post some flyers around campus or something (if that hasn't be done before). | |
