Crew[rowing] team?

Does San Luis Obispo have a rowing team? Is there a summer practice or whatever, what do freshman do if they want to be on the team?

I've checked the gopoly.com and calpolymustangs.com site and no mention of a rowing team. One minute search on google did not help either.

I had checked those sites as well and had the same results.

I emailed one of the staff at cal poly about crew and it turns out that a few years ago there was one but it went broke!

but you guys do have an incredible student rec center as well as a very nice aquatics center at SLO that we in pomona would DIE for!!! and mott gym is nicer than kelogg gym, too. i only wish the mustangs and broncos would play more games together than they do.

thanks for the info about the aquatic center. I will be sure to check it out.

I can't wait to get to the beach! I have never been to the west coast.
