Men's Cross Country and Women's Volleyball Compete in NCAA Postseason Play
Free Metrolink Passes Available for Trip to Cal State L.A.


The Bronco women's volleyball team, fresh off the best regular-season in the program's history, will begin NCAA playoff action on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 2:30 p.m. against Central Washington at Cal State L.A. If the Broncos, the co-champions of the CCAA and the No. 2 seed in the region, win on Thursday, they will play again on Friday at 5 p.m. The regional championship game is Saturday at 7 p.m.

CPP is ranked ninth in the country and has a record of 24-2. The best way to get to the match is by jumping on Metrolink and taking it to the Cal State L.A. stop. To help students get to the match, the Rideshare Office has FREE Metrolink 4-Trip Passes. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Bronco men's cross country team will be competing for the NCAA national title in cross country on Saturday at Prado Park in Chino. Cal Poly Pomona earned the trip to the nationals by finishing second in the West Region. Senior Mark Batres will be aiming for his second straight All-American performance. The Bronco men are making their third straight appearance in the nationals, something that hasn't been achieved since 1984-86.
