CP Beats #9 Team, Allen ScoresFifty!!!!

hi everybody,
thought this was going to be just another boring saturday night now that finals are over. was surfing around and discovered the fact that Cal Poly has webcasts of its basketball games. what the heck, i think, why not see what these things are like. i catch the last few minutes of some kind of game where we beat the ninth ranked team in the country and our star player scores FIFTY points!!!!

then i do some checking. seems that our star guard was the starting guard for the University of Arizona...no wonder!!! am going to check out our team in person, sounds like we have a winning program. has anybody been to any games this year?

I saw both teams this year. Both the men and women have legitimate All American players and are nationally ranked. The women are undefeated and have won more national championships than any other school. I think both teams play again at home Tuesday. Allen was the national scoring champion last year. A pure shooter and probably will turn pro this spring.

thanks, jayandbutton....i went to the game tonight and allen only scored 21...that is about her worst night of the year...the men and women both won by about 20 points...looks like it will be a powerhouse year!
