COM100 or COM204?

COM100 Public Speaking

or

COM204 Advocacy and Argument

Which one would you recommend and why?

I don't know about COM 204 but I've taken COM 100 on my second year. I should've taken the Intro COM 100 course on my freshman year because the course taught me how to become a confident speaker in front of class and how to prepare & organize my speech.

I still need a lot of practice in speech though.

I would recommend taking COM 100. Class is sooo easy, usually you can make up a speech on anything you want. For example, I made a speech on myself how great and awesome I was.

I think it depends on what you want... I haven't taken either, but I'm going to take COM 204 because apart from public speaking, they show you how to present an arguement so that people will buy into it... which will probably come useful, and is probably harder to do than just a normal speech...
So, probably COM 100 is easier because they don't take it to that other level...

I've decided to take COM100. Maybe in the future i'll take COM204 for my own interest, but COM100 will probably help me on COM204.

Another question, any recommended professors for COM100?
