Classes and Prerequiste question. Need ans asap.

For some reason I was able to register for a class that I did not meet the prerequiste for. Can the department (ECE) or professor withdraw me at the end/during of the quarter if they find out that I did not meet the prereq? I don't want to work my butt off and then to have somebody drop me because I didn't have the prereq.

Classes for my majors are limited this quarter so I need to stay in with what I registered.

You better talk with your prof or you are risking your effort.

they can put a "U" on your record which is "Unauthorized withdrawal" or somehting like that, basically they drop you. Depends on the proff. Dashner does that.

I had a prof on the first day of classes go through the list of students one by one and ask, did you take the prereq? If you answered no, she dropped you. If you answered yes, she checked it in the records. Its all about who your prof is.

I've heard rumors that the new broncodirect may accept you at first (probably a glitch in the system or it's overloaded) but a few weeks later will do another runthrough, and if it finds you didn't meet prereqs, it will drop you. Just a rumor though.

Why risk in the first place if there is a certain chance that you will be dropped, maybe few weeks down the road when you have already bought the textbook.
