 |  Class Year for graduation Hi guys. I have few more years left til graduation. I checked my class schedule forecast and I'm going to be stuck with 12 units left after spring of 2008. If I complete the final 12 units at the end of summer quarter, am I still qualified as a Class of 2008 or am I SOL and assigned as a Class of 2009?? |

| Class year you are still considered class of 2008 and you can participate in spring graduation only if you have 8 units or less left to complete degree requirements. other than that, your degree is awarded the semester you finish requirements, but graduation ceremony is only in the spring, so you can wait another year or just not walk. |

 | On the other hand, they don't really enforce that "8 units left" rule. As long as you pay the $ for graduation and turn in the application on time, you can walk. I've heard of people walking multiple times  I wouldn't be concerned if you have 12 units left-just walk that year. Make sure you get your application in by the deadline! |
