I am tired of your anti cpp smack. This is a cpp and slo board and not a titan board. You went to cpp so you are a bronco. The fact that you now go to csuf for a masters does not make you a titan. However , based on your recent post you have chosen the titans as your team . Thats fine. We only want true bronco fans here in good times and in bad. I can see you now all dressed in orange. For the rest of us its GOLD and GREEN!!

Also you talk as though csuf is a superior school. The recent US news rankings had cpp ahead your titans. So cpp may be bad but at least we are better than csuf.

dude, i call them the way they are. how many alums go back to their old school when they're at a DI school in the hunt for a DI championship? i've been to three bronco games this year and cheered at all of them, even the le moyne game when there were more people from new york in the stands than broncos. i sat where the students sit for that game and was the only person on that side wearing a bronco sweatshirt.

where were you?

and i know what board this is. you might notice i'm talking about when the titan ladies play the broncos or when the titan men play the mustangs, not other games.

and if you think some magazine is the only way to determine quality you need to go to a campus and do some research. look around. talk to students. check out the studentsreview.com web site. don't believe what somebody on the east coast says based on old data.

i'm mad that as an alum great programs are crumbling or being eliminated. look at ladies basketball, or worse, baseball. national champion programs deserve better, don't they? or are you, mr. newcomer, satisfied with what you have?

I am at grad school at ucla but I dont consider myself a bruin nor do I cheer for them just because they have a better program. By the way they are actually playing for a D 1 championship. I am bronco and sure the school is having some problems but I have not turned my loyalty to another school.

Your posts are full of comparisons between cpp and csuf and you mock cpps lack of certain sports teams. How is that helping cpp? Its "look at us..we are better..." give me a break...go work on you little masters degree from csuf. I am sure it compares to a ucla masters..There I pulled my ucla card which I never do ..but for you..I have made an exception

About time someone else shut up this little rat (x-man) we have squirming around Kellogg Gym on game nights. All he does is talk about Fullerton, WHICH NOONE cares about on this campus. You talk about our broncos, which we love dearly, even in a sub .500 season.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is tired of it. It all started 2 years ago when he trashed Hervey Malone, an all-league player who arguably played on one of the best bronco teams in CPP History. That is disrespect and then continues to bad mouth bronco players. Give me a break!

that is some kind of awesome achievement!

it's easy to get into another cal state like fullerton no matter what x-man will say. but many broncos would do cartwheels to get a UCLA degree.

and by the way, any hookup with coach howland? we've love to have another trip to pauley pavilion like we had last year!

getting into ucla for grad school..its comes down to grades and test scores...I had a cousin who also graduated from cpp then went on to uc berkeley for law school many years back ...that guy was a top student at cpp...so it can be done...yeah..I hope cpp and ucla play again and the broncos kick the crap out of them......that would be great....

i was so proud of our team. the pep band was there, too, even though they got nosebleed seats. but they were as loud as the bruin band...and as good!

hey, offer some tips on those test scores...how to study, prep guides, etc., as a degree from bruin land is golden!

i am laughing so hard right now from this thread. X-man is now being double team. even though i do not agree with x-man thought on the team, but I beleive you could root for a school from division I and division II. I am big as a UCLA supporter as I am cal poly pomona supporters. So when I went to the UCLA vs CPP exhibition game last year i had UCLA and CPP shirt on, but the CPP shirt was on top. The only time you pick side when your two teams play a game that counts. Then you have to pick a side.

I agree that you can have two teams..but you dont crap on the team/school that you attended and the expense of supporting your new team/school..

don't worry, lakdod, the x-man can handle the double and even the triple team defense. you can stack your defense against the x-man and he still scores because he has the goods on you. as jack says in the movie, "you can't HANDLE the truth!"

at the titan-bronco game this year i cheer for the broncos, even though that titan point guard was one hot chick. i think my lady gets jealous. but our broncos got blown out. i still root for the home team.

and you guys might want to notice that the men of orange are in the hunt for the big west title. the last time i looked that is a "championship", and oh, by the way, winning it gives you a ticket to the BIG DANCE.

I wish I could go to the CCAA tournament this year on sat and sun, but I am being drag to Vegas again that week in March.

Anyways first off the broncos need to get on a hot winning streak soon in order to have a home game in the tournament. I would hate to play on the road in the first round against humboldt, UCSD, or SF st. With Dominguez losing last night and playing @UCSD. Leaves the Broncos in 5th place. A sweep will probally leave the broncos in 4th place in the conference after next week. next week they play @ san bernardino and UCSD comes to town for senior night. The last two weeks they go up north to play sonoma and Humboldt .
If they finish
6-0 Will be tough especially games @ SB and humboldt. If they do. probally need to win 1 tournament game and their in the ncaa tournamet. probally be a 2 or 3 seed in CCAA tournament
5-1 They will need to win two games in the tournament and hopefully beat humboldt 3 times in the season to get in the ncaa tournament. CCAA seed 3 or 4th seed.
4-2 the most likley option for the rest of the season. need to win the CCAA tournament to get in the NCAA. probally 4th seed in ccaa tournament.
3-3 they will be the 5th seed and hello road trip for the first round
2-4 same get ready to play the top teams on the road.
0-4, 1-4 season is over start to towards next year.

I will make a prediction that the Broncos will go 5-1 and either lose @ humboldt or SB.

second, HUGE PROPS again to lakdod for your insights. you are DEAD ON, and i really hope you are correct about a 5-1 run. that would put us at 14-11 going into the tournament with a home game against somebody like the toros, who have swept us this year. PAYBACK, bronco fans, and then on to the house of yotes for the final four!
