A powerful visual display to remember those affected by violence. The Clothesline Project began nation-wide in 1990 with 31 shirts designed by survivors of assault, rape and incest. This has expanded to include designs from survivors of domestic and dating violence, gang rape, and loved ones of people murdered. Now, the Clothesline Project is a resource for healing from violence and creating social change. In addition, cardboard cut-outs display the stories of victims of hate crimes.
