If you are over 18, come by one of the tables and register to vote with one of our student volunteers. If you are under 18, you can still be involved in volunteering to get students to register to vote. Volunteers can come by one of the tables and grab a shirt and a clip board and you are only one step away in making a difference this coming November 8, 2005. Keith and Janet Kellogg Art Gallery, bldg. 35A The Ron Escheté Trio, featuring Escheté on guitar, Todd Johnson on bass and Kendall Kay on drums. Also on the bill is Diane Ward, poet and author of numerous volumes of poetry including On Duke Ellington's Birthday, Never Without One, and Portraits and Maps. She will be joined by Rodrigo Toscano, a poet whose books include To Leveling Swerve and Platform, works in The Labor Institute in NYC, and is a 2005 Fellow in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts. Tuesday, October 18 11:00am - 2:00pm CLOTHESLINE PROJECT/HATE CRIME MEMORIAL University Park A powerful visual display to remember those affected by violence. The Clothesline Project began nation-wide in 1990 with 31 shirts designed by survivors of assault, rape and incest. This has expanded to include designs from survivors of domestic and dating violence, gang rape, and loved ones of people murdered. Now, the Clothesline Project is a resource for healing from violence and creating social change.
