![]() | Cal Poly Pomona Dorm Rooms? I will get going to Cal Poly Pomona, and since the only dorm rooms offered to freshmen are the residence halls, how do you know which one to choose? And which ones are better? Are they that small or something? How are the bathrooms and the kitchen areas? I will be taking a tour later on, but I just wanted to know peoples thought or if they had pictures, instead of the ones online. Thankx |

![]() | Hall, that was inappropriate. ![]() NightWing310, from my personal experience, the dorm rooms are tiny especially if you get in the triple dorms though the space is manageable to stay in. The doubles are a bit more expensive but should be more comfortable to stay in. There are five residence halls to choose from and you'll get a chance to see which one you'll prefer. There is no kitchen in the residence halls. A restroom with showers on each floor.

![]() | good for you admin for giving a smack on the fanny to wall of shame, who thinks he owns this board. the name of the board is network, bozo, not bronco sports talk. you can read, can't you? here we have an innocent freshman just looking for a dorm room and wall tries to chase him/her away. admin controls the posts, not you wall. this is not a bronco sports line as you think. time for you to retire and chill. |

The Network forum is not limited to Bronco talks, registered members could discuss about anything that relates to the two Cal Poly universities.

![]() | Okay hall you need take a breather right now. This is not a big issue. This board been latley alot about basketball and sprots that some of us forgot about this is a site for all cal poly events. even though most of the issue been about cal poly pomona. Anyways most of us has been at cal poly pomona long enough to know all of the secrets about the school. We should be informative of the school for the perspective students. |

![]() | I clearly stated earlier to PM (private message) me if you have a problem CPP. This is your last warning. I have PM xiaoxue about his postings and gave a warning too. He could freely post about CSUF in the General Discussion forum but not post "controversial and usually irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, with the intention of baiting other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion." <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll> Quote:

![]() | back to the original question, IMO staying a dorm is a great way to meet new people when you are starting out your college life.. its a great chance to get away from the family and learn a little about independent self. |

![]() | You must make sure to put a deposit fast cause the rooms will go out quick. I ended up in a triple dorm and damn~ the room didn't smell pleasant. Tip: wear a flip flop when your taking a shower. His right about the meeting new friends. I met ton of new friends cause we were all freshman and just hung out in the hall area. Fun times. |

![]() | nightwing, first of all, welcome to the board. hall of fame must be freaking out about finals or something as he usually does not fly off like this, even toward x-man. the best thing about dorm life in my view is the food. get a meal plan as the food at los olivos has improved so incredibly from the mystery meat era of the 1980s that you will invite your friends over. i eat there several times a week--there's a pizza bar, a taco bar, a pasta bar, a deli bar, and almost every other kind of bar other than one that serves beer. and please join in on these boards. you can see we have some very informed and passionate members of the cal poly family, and it is very rare for somebody like you to get flamed like you did. j |

![]() | ha, ha, ha...now hall of fame is getting triple teamed by lakdod, admin and the j-man, and he can't handle the heat!!!! nightwing310, there are the old brick dorms and the newer ones next to them. but what you really want to get if you can are the suites next to the gym. they are sweet suites, dude. i never had one but i've been there and they are nice. but there always is a waiting list. get a double and not a triple if you can. and the j-man is right about the food (and hall)...the pizzas are great at the commons, and try that yummy mongolian barbeque, too! go titans! |

![]() | Hello, i am also planning on living on campus. Is it true that the suites and apartments aren't available for freshmen? That that sucks. Are there any good apartments that are really really near as in maybe like just outside of the campus? |

Freshmen can rent nearby apartments as they are not owned or operated by the university. They are pricey though so find roommates.
