Cal Poly Pomona Men's BBall Beats CSUSB!!

I couldn't make it to the game at the last min, heard the webcast and seem like it was another classic like that went to OT.

Please give details if you were there among the big crowd there.

Big win for the Broncos!!

all i got to say this game lived up to the hype. the broncos started off really bad but showed heart and cut the lead. You can tell the players really wanted this game bad. they showed alot of emotion in the game which brought them back in the game. There deffense after the coyotes big run was the key to the game. they were able to slow down the high octane offense of the coyotes, and the other key they had very few problems with the press. Today we had another instant classic rivary between the coyotes and the broncos. this win also brought us back into contention for the tournament. the broncos have another tough test againt UCSD on Friday who are playing some good basketball.
I give to give props to the students who showed up. At times we made alot of noise to bad all games are not like that. As I say this my vocie hurt and victory is suiting my pain.

wish the athletic dept would help out and post the stats. game has been over for two hours and still nothing, not even a score. this is not the bronco standard we usually expect.

lakdod, you are incredible. and so are the broncos.

And Here's Another One..

Mr. Jay.. all you need to know is that greatness was displayed in Kellogg Gym tonight. Bronco basketball was in full form, coach K coaching to perfection, the assistant coaches yelling from the sidelines and the old timers came back to represent the stables in the student section.

This was Ali-Frazier classic in Kellogg Gym. LG tried to bring the roof down as he was living up to his double double "dubbed name." Angelo played well under control as he was cool as the other side of the pillow from the free throw strike. Donnelle played big tonight boarding key rebounds and key put backs but as usual, shaq like from the line.

I usually give credit to the mastermind coach k in all victories, but this team ball goes to "the team" for stepping up, showing heart, and fighting to the bitter end. Win or Lose, we would have been proud of their effort tonight.

The best thing about the win, besides beating them the last 4 times in a row (dating back to the Hervey era x-man) is that I dont have to log on and listen to Mr. Jay and x-man rag on the broncos after a loss.

Hall is sleeping good tonight in Bronco Country! Good nite my fellow bronco fans!

there's nothing i'd like better than to eat my words, hall.

but even you would admit the broncos were done by christmas.

so let's call this a rebirth in the grand tradition of bonds, sybesma and all the bronco greats of recent vintage.

i don't mind seeing the broncos lose. i've seen that for twenty years. but i do mind when we don't put forth effort and seem to be into personal agendas, jawing and showboating. as you say, this was a total team effort up to the legendary style of a coach k. team. the alumni know this. hervey, deon, sybes, and marques have been at recent games and made similar statements. but in the final analysis we're all bronco fans and we will be there for them as long as they try hard.

welcome back to the board, x-man, and thanks for your support of our double-double machine. he is truly a stud who as you suggest could help your titans this year.

i just checked our athletics web site which lists the "next" basketball webcasts for january 4 and 5--so i guess we're still waiting and hoping for any kind of sign that we're on the ball and keeping our site current. guess not.....but did you check the UCSD one? they have 23 NCAA sports so the guess here is that they will narrowcast the game.

a win tonight and we are legitimate title contenders and a sign of coach k's greatest comeback team ever.

lakdod, your prediction?
