![]() | down 17 at half. To many turnovers are killing the Broncos. Guachos are red hot from three they are 8/14 from three point range. Hopefully they remember the LMU game last year. If they do they still have a chance but need to cut down on the turnovers and not rush the shot. |

![]() | I am going to start my game opinion based on what i heard on the broadcast. First on the first half they allowed to many threes and commited to many turnovers and fouls. They committed I think double digit turnover which will lead to the big deficit. This is a bad sign early because the coyotes like to press and UCSB was doing similar to the Broncos which cause many turnovers. With the quickness of UCSB it allowed to make threes which help extend the lead. The final thing they need to work on is not fouling UCSB was early in the bonus in both the first and second half. The second half the Broncos played alot better at times they were able to cut the lead but they still committed alot of turnovers and fouls in the game. The other problem I see was that they depended on Gordon way to much. I mean Gordon did alot during the game if it was not for him the Broncos would of lost by 30 easily. That means player like Daniels, Angelo, and Booker needs to step up for the Broncos to suceed. The other stat I hate was Daniels taking to many threes. A center is not suppose to take more than five three pointer. Anyways I was disappointed by the first half ,but semi satisfied with the second half performence. As we see that Gordon is this year team letter he ends up with 21 points against UCSB. The broncos lose by 19. I will examine the box score and have more to say about the game when I see it. |

![]() | i listened too lakdod. for a former pac ten player angelo was a huge bust. combine his 0-7 shooting with donelle clunking 0-6 in free throws and you are toast. gordon had to do it all and scored 22. your game summary was about ten times better again than the bronco SID who only gave us about five sentences and no box score for the entire game. and then he sez UCSB record is 0-1 on top of it. they should send him to the poly post and get paul helms back. awful. |

![]() | it's possible xiaoxue that the UCSB summary was written by an intern since the bronco volleyball team was playing over in san bern on the same night. but geez, how can you say the gauchos are 0-1 when they won the game? i didn't hear the game since i was coming out of knee surgery and also was disappointed no box score was posted. but the gaucho site showed that larry gordon can play with the big boys and apparently nobody else including our DI transfer stud. meanwhile, the coyotes keep rolling. since playing in that DI tournament over at pauley didn't count, they are 5-0 after winning the seattle tournament while the jacks only managed a split up north. the yotes clearly are the team to beat. |

![]() | Yes the coyotes are the team to beat right now. Humboldt did not look good in their first game but they came back and won their second game. Anyways about the Broncos. I think the key reason why the broncos did not keep the game close against UCSB was they committed way to many turnovers and allowed to many threes. Looks at UCSB box score you will see in the first half UCSB scored 13 pts of TO compare to 5 for the broncos. 3 pt stats 11-22 for UCSB at 50% while the Broncos shot 6-17 for 35%. That is 15 points right there in 3pts and for free throws the Broncos shot 12-22 for 55% compare to the guachos 20-23 for 87%. There 8 pts the Broncos lost there. Comparing FT and 3PT stats and fast break points you will see why the Broncos lost the game against UCSB. I will expect that those stats will get better. The broncos play Vanguard tommorrow if they have a close game or lose the broncos might be in trouble come CCAA season. |
