Cal poly Pomona vs Dominguez

The Broncos played bad for most of the game. I mean they plain out suck, but Dion will not let this team lose especially not on senior night. Broncos down by two with 20 seconds left make a clutch two pointer to tie the game. The Broncos made the stop and forced overtime. In overtime the Broncos took the early lead, but gave it right back and the Broncos were down by 2 with over a min left. After stoping the Toros with 16 seconds kevin Neveu got the rebound and gave it to Luis who makes a three to take a one pooint lead. Dominguez has another shot to beat the Broncos, but come up short and Broncos win by 1.
Dion on senior night scores 39 points, followed by Daniels 16 pts(who left the game late in the fourth with look like a sprain ankle). The team has to play better baketball if they want to make the Elite Eight.
IN other news Humboldt barleys beat Cal state LA by 2, and San bernardino easily beat UCSD.

oh yeah I forgot 31 of the 39 points scored by Dion was in the second half and overtime.

sorry, lakdod, but was just flat exhausted from the drive back and missed the game. angela wanted to stop many times along the way, including a couple of hours of fun in primm valley.

sure wish i could have seen the latest version of the heart throb kids, but the results merely confirm what i've said all year long. we still have no capacity for putting inferior teams away, so unless we get a very hot shooting hand at the dance i regret to expect us to go no further than the second round, sweet sixteen at the very best.

the neon man may just will the team to win as he did last night, but that's hard to do when the other side has three or four studs and he gets exhausted. baby shaq has been the only day in-day out consistent threat otherwise. larry's output has shrunk, billy has been up and down, and luis is a role guy.

we're in the dance, no doubt of that now. i forsee a split this final road trip but will keep the three seed and win another close one in the round of 64 at east gym, putting us at 21-7 going into the second round.

coach k's hair is literally turning gray this year. you can see it happen.

but huge props to our senior captain. he might get a look for the D league and surely make one of the european leagues and perhaps play against jeff bonds.

yeah I agree with you if no other broncos step up they will not have a good tournament. I got to say if Dion do not CCAA player of the week its highway robbery. How can you not give it to a player eho average 30 pts for the week.

Is anybody going to make the road game to Cal State LA. Hopefully I will see some of you guys at the game

I was thinking about going to Cal State LA game but won't know for sure until mid next week. However I think we should have our cheer squad and the band there since Cal State LA is pretty close to our campus...
