Nice work! That peer assesment score moving up to a 3.6 is awesome. Along the same lines, SLO stayed in the top spot for publics for the 13th year in a row. Props to the faculty/students.

What about Pomona? I got all excited when I saw it on the Cal Poly Pomona website but then when I got my US News in the mail today I saw that it was for SLO.

Giant, where in US News is CPP mentioned? I see SLO on page 84 under the "Master's (West)" category. I'm really glad to hear that CPP has been ranked--mentioned--as a top school. I've always thought it was a good school.

Look for "California State Polytechnic University-Pomona" or something similar to that.
By the way, here are last year's rankings for reference:

http://polycentric.csupomona.edu/cam...estern35th.pdf - 35th in West, 5th public school in West (non-doctoral schools)
http://polycentric.csupomona.edu/cam...eering14th.pdf (Engineering) - 14th in Nation (non-doctoral schools)

According to U.S. News & World Report, Cal Poly Pomona's master's program moved up four spots to 31st in the Western region. Azusa Pacific University dropped two spots to 22nd in the same category.

In another category, Cal Poly Pomona held steady at 14th in the national "Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs.'

Cal Poly Pomona President Michael Ortiz said the university hasn't dramatically changed its programs.

"If we did anything different, it's probably the notoriety our programs achieved nationally,' he said.
News about our neighborhood school: "There were few surprises for Pomona College, the 1,500-student liberal arts school that came in six th in "Best Liberal Arts Colleges.'

The college is usually ranked between four th and eigh th, depending on the year, according to President David Oxtoby, who thinks the school should be third."
