Question Cal Poly Hotel

I went on a Career Center workshop today and I've heard the presentor talk about a hotel nearby or on Cal Poly campus. She said that the hotel is the 2nd best nationwide on hotel management and their meals are exceptional(don't quote me on this)!

Where exactly is this?

Was she talking about the Kellogg West?

It's on top of the hill... If you go behind the Marketplace, and look to the right you will see a hill. There are some stairs that lead to it, but most people usually drive up there.

OR you can take shuttle B because it stops there too!
Not much to see though.

There is a trail that you can hike up to reach the top. Was a good exercise.
Our jogging (kinesiology) class had a one day tour inside the mansion but nothing much to see inside either.
Is there any other hotel around or on Cal Poly, that claims the 2nd best hotel nationwide? I doubt it is the Kellogg West.

I belive Cal Poly's claim is that they have the second best Hotel management program in the nation, not the 2nd best hotel in the nation.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the most highly rated hotel management program is at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

That clears it up. Ranking 2nd place nationwide is very impressive.
Is Landscape Architect and Electrical Engineer (or other field of Engineering) on any rank?

At one point in history... Cal Poly was in the top10 for some engineering. (Maybe mechanical?)

Someone verify.

It just sounds more advance saying Cal Poly Pomona than Cal State Pomona.

There is a Cal Tech university in California so that wouldn't work.

Cal Poly should be known as Cal PolyTech since it is a polytechnic institution. Sounds very sophisticated.

Why? Let's create our own identity and let others name their colleges after Cal Poly (Like SLO )

San Luis Obispo claims that they are the "original" Cal Poly and we are their sister school. Can't argue since SLO is somewhat a better school than Pomona.
