| Cal Poly Guru | Yes they are. you might also want to try amazon or half.com. Usually cheaper & always select EXPEDITED shipping. Standard shipping = Media Mail = 5days - 3 weeks!!

![]() | Its best to get your books as soon as you can so that way you will not have any trouble later on. Here are a few suggestions in addition to the ones mentioned above: 1. Look on this fourm or http://www.asi.csupomona.edu/ if anyone has the book you are looking for. If they don't then you can create an ad if you wish. 2. Stop by the University Book Exchange store on Temple and Grand. I believe it is located in the shopping center near Jack in the Box. |

| GCP.com Admin | GradeCalPoly.com can also give you a run down of what books you need by entering the classes you need. It gives you the bookstore price, and the amazon.com price. Get your books now, so you can get them online and save ~30-40% and allow time for delivery. |

![]() | Uhh, gradecalpoly is specifically for CPP. You should first use the El Corral Bookstore instead, get the ISBN numbers for the books you need and shop somewhere other than the bookstore (e.g. amazon.com) - usually El Corral jacks up the regular prices by 30-50%. That and I've heard it's not recommended to do the textbook reservation route. I would try shopping at Aida's. They're located off Foothill past Santa Rosa Blvd. (a little further down from Stenner Glen) |

![]() | Whoa! I know books are expensive, but I was at work today looking at amazon.com and the books for one of my classes are super-duper expensive! I mean more expensive than what I normally consider expensive! I'm gonna look in Ebay and see what bargains I can find. Do books for graduate classes just cost more or what? Man, I'm a bit bummed out. |
