it good that someone thinks were that good, but the only problem is this is base on a computer. They have UCLA as a the 4th best team in Div 1 which is a complete joke. The three team ahead of UCLA which were Pitt, Oklahoma st., and Whicita st. For the exception of Whicita none of these team have played anybody. I do believe that the Broncos are good, but it hard to accept a rankings that are based on a computer for example the BCS.

and UCLA has played a couple of somebodies, notably cal poly pomona and humboldt state! pitt will fall after losing to wisconsin. let's see how good the broncos are this week. a sweep in vegas and they are in the hunt for another regional title.

League play will be brutal this year

the CCAA is absolutely loaded this year.

grand canyon had almost everybody back from a 19-8 team and last night got blown out by the coyotes, 104-60. the beast ivan johnson has been sent to the bench but that team is jelling and we are lucky to have caught them early. gotta see them as possible co-favorites with us now.

humboldt won again, too, 111-86, over a good CSUMB team, with pearl hitting 14 of 15 shots. nice crowd over 1,000 fans even with school not in session.

CSULA scored 129 points in its win and is much better, and even lowly stanislaus went into chico and pulled out a W. the road schedule this year will be brutal. we gotta stay ahead of the pack, and luckily we draw SF and MB for our first road swing in league play. a sweep is essential to improve our confidence.

This week games in Vegas will be interesting. I think the Broncos can easily sweep the two Washington school if they play a good game. Actually I will be a little dissapointed if the Broncos do not beat both western and central washington. Well I am leaving for Vegas tommorrow morning I think i will be in Vegas just in time to watch both the mens and womens game unless my parents stop at stateline and spend a couple of hrs at the outlets. One negative about this trip is that I am not 21 and its going to be freezing cold in Vegas the next two days.

tell us what you see, bro...will try to catch the games via the webcast with paul (golden tones, king of the homers) helms on the mike.

two road wins against quality teams will say much about these teams but of course these are neutral floors. winning before 1,500 crazies in chico or 5,000 at bakersfield is another level.

I think these two games are pretty important to the Broncos. They won't get back on the court until two weeks later.. so its important to keep our team confidence high and rolling into the new year.

central washington is 3-5 now and then we go back on the road in conference play at san francisco and monterey bay. all three teams have losing records.

that means unless there is an upset we should be 9-1 when our team returns to kellogg gym, and possibly in the top ten with an undefeated conference record of 5-0. look for san bernardino to keep winning and be 8-2 then with an eight game winning streak.

the latest computer rankings show the broncos ranked SIXTH in the nation with its 7-1 record.

and san bernardino is charging full speed ahead, having won six straight games in blowouts since we nailed them at welcome back the pack night a month ago. they are now rated TENTH and keep coming on strong.

the broncos have 672 points which is higher than about half of all the Division One schools and is the highest DII with one loss. the coyotes are the highest ranked school with two losses at tenth and 651 points, and bakersfield is 20th according to the computer even though it has a losing record at 4-5. of course all the losses, mostly narrow ones, were to DI schools and the runners have one DI victory as well.

what this means is that the CCAA is totally loaded this year.
