Broncos vs. Mustangs Oct. 27 at Mott Gym

Here's one of those best kept secrets finally revealed.

Even though Coach Bromley wants to keep this under wraps (is he afraid of a loss?) this will be the first meeting between the two mens basketball programs in more than a decade.

It's still unknown if the public can attend the game next Saturday or if Broms will chain the doors like Coach Carter did.

Also, the Broncos play the Cal-Irvine Anteaters at Bren Events Center the following Saturday before turning to UCSB at the Thunderdome for the third visit to Big West venues.

Lakdod, i finally beat you on a scoop. BTW, Tobias Jahn has added about fifteen pounds of muscle since last season. He looks like he can bang now and we will need that against these DI programs. The new guys look solid too.

So now your predictions on each of these games? I say 0-3 unless we can play almost error free. if we can cut turnovers to five or less then we are in the game.

I have been really busy jay with work and school latley, and I basically have no time to scroll around the internet in my search for the latest news. I .Anyways I am looking forward to the season but I probally wont attend as many games because of work. Hopefully my boss will give me a favorable schedule for I can attend most of the home games and some of the road games. It will probally be 0-2 in scrimage and lost to UCSB. I am actually thinking of making the trip for the UCSB if I do not work that night or Fri morning.
Anybody with any insight how the rest of the players are looking?

I saw some video of previous game he played and I was impress with his 3 pt range when he was at Oregon St. I am looking forward to another season of Broncos basketball. Anyways we are weeks away from the season opener.

Some interesting games in the next week or two....

it all begins next week when LA plays at Northridge, then they get a tasty roadie to New Mexico State and the huge Pan American Center. not exactly the Eagles Nest.

Meanwhile, some other interesting games in the next week or two:

UCSD plays Drake at St. Marys....huh?

Humboldt hosts the Taliban national team in Arcata.

And none of our exhibitions are listed on the conference site, but we are showing a home game against somebody called LeMoyne College Dec. 30. Guess that's the best we can do with our barn called kellogg gym.

Lumberjacks are ranked sixth nationally in first poll.

Le Moyne is a division II school back east. They will play two games out west one against us and against Cal state LA.

I was kind of surprise with humboldt rankings and the Broncos are not even rank. Anyways we will be in the top 25 by the end of he year.

are you REALLY going xiaoxue, or is this more of your perverse humor?

if you do, give us a report on the broncos. it will be their first game experience this year.

thanks, admin, for updating the basketball schedule board. it now shows the logos of our first three opponents, the mustangs, the anteaters, and the gauchos.

i might make the trip down to bren to see the boys tackle the eaters next saturday. how about you, lakdod?

The report from SLO-land is that the boys played well and hung in there so it was about as expected. Angelo started at point guard and along with Austin provided us with a completely new backcourt. Word has it that the new guys picked up the motion offense very quickly.

The front line starters as expected were Larry, Donelle, and big KD.

The Mustangs are picked to finish second in the Big West. I don't think we've seen a prediction in the CCAA yet.

Any updates on the UCI game, I checked thier web site but no info on our game against them. I'm thinking of making the trip down there if the game is open to the public.
