![]() | Broncos must win out now Broncos blow a seven point lead in the last two minutes of the game and then fail to show up in overtime. Bottom line to story once again is free throw shooting, 8-18 in second half when the chips were down. The good news is that Deon Cook lit it up again for twenty and Larry Gordon once again came off the bench for another double-double with 19 and 12. JBoyd and KD had solid games with 12 apiece. Now the bad. Once again "Captain" Hervey Malone II led the team in minutes and once again was near the bottom in productivity. He and Melvyn, the other huge letdown this year, combined for only nine points and went 0-for-4 in free throws. Now Broncos absolutely must win out and finish 18-9 for any hope of the playoffs. When will Coach show him the bench and start Gordon? |

![]() | I thought there only chance for them to make the tournament was to win out. Eventhough they lost last night they stil have a slim chance because the two Alaska school lost on Thursday which gives the Broncos a slim chacne to get in if the broncos win out. Tonight is the big game if they win tonight they have a good chacne of winning out. We will beat UCSD and of course San Bernardino right now is in nice little losing streak. I found a link to a webcast via Chico athlethic website hopefully it will work and I can listen to the game. |

![]() | Correct, but only by going 5-0 and getting help good catch. we must overtake at least three of the following: the two alaska state universities, central washington, seattle and humboldt. we got help thursday when the two alaska schools lost. cenral washington needs to lose tonight to SPU and either humboldt or anchorage will lose again since they play each other. i agree with xiaoxue's assessment. i keep hearing that larry does not know the "system." seems like he's well integrated into the flow to me. how can you leave a double-double machine on the bench? he is quickly becoming the best player on the team, or at least second to cook with boyd third. |

![]() | I just read the recap of the game on the Broncos athlethics website and at the bottom it says this Friday game will be Bring Back the pack Night against UC San Diego. I think that great that there trying to get more people to attend the game, but I wish Bring back the pack night would be Saturday against San Bernardino. I know the stupid reason why its on friday against UCSD because more people would go on Friday then Saturday, but I just love any type of rilvary or big game and the San Bernardino game have both. Hopefully the game against UCSD will be entertaining and maybe people will come back the next night for the San Bernardino game. |

![]() | here is a peek at the playoff picture hey fans i checked the other scores and we have good news and bad news. first the good news: northwest nazarene beat western washington and that's a team we swept home and home this year. and humboldt got beat at home to alaska-anchorage. finally, grand canyon lost to BYU. now the bad news: central washington won a huge game at SPU, and both alaska schools won on the road. bottom line is that broncos will stay out of the top ten this week and will need both a sweep and help. we need seattle pacific and western washington to win out and beat those teams on the bubble with us. also, we need for chaminade and grand canyon to keep losing. this week it will be a top ten similar to last. WWU and SPU will remain in the top two and are locks. chaminade is the only pac west school in the hunt at 15-8, and then there are anchorage 17-10, fairbanks 15-9, humboldt 14-8, central washington 13-10 and possibly even seattle 13-10 still ahead of us. we are 14-9 and absolutely must finish 18-9 now for any hope of sneaking into an eight seed. it is very rare for seven great northwest schools to be with winning records this late in the year, and we need at least two of them to nosedive, and we need the pac west schools to knock each other out. that scenario puts three CCAA schools (bake, sonoma and us) pitted against five GNAC schools (WWU, SPU and three among the list above) for the regional title that we are hoping to defend. |

![]() | it looks like anchorage will be in good shape if they beat fairbanks this week at home. humboldt must play at central washington so if we hope that fairbanks, humboldt and seattle lose at least two more games each we should be there unless both chaminade and canyon get hot. canyon closes out the year playing the hawaii schools and its soft schedule should keep that team out of it. so here is a prediction: 1. Seattle Pacific 22-5 2. Western Washington 22-5 3. BAKE 21-6 4. SONOMA 19-8 5. UAA 20-11 6. Chaminade 18-9 7. Central Washington 17-10 8. BRONCOS 18-9 this means humboldt, fairbanks and seattle all finish with at least eleven losses and canyon loses at least once the rest of the way. it's a reasonable scenario. |

![]() | Looking at the Schedule I think Central Washington will lose two games to the Alaska school. Humbolt will lose two games to central and Western Washington. Seattle Will lose two to Humboldt and Seattle Pacific. Alaska Anchorage will beat Fairbanks and C washington, but lose to Western Washington. Fairbanks will lose two one to Anchorage and another to Western Washington , but they will beat C. Washington. It sound confusing but this is one formula I figured out for the Broncos to make the tournament. Of course the Broncos has to win out for them to have any chance to make it |

![]() | new Ranking out and the rankings are bascially what we all thought was going to happen with the Broncos still out of the top ten. If you look at my scenario I made I think that is the only way the Broncos get into the tournament. 1 Seattle Pacific 19-3 17-3 2 Western Washington 17-4 15-4 3 Cal State Bakersfield 16-5 15-4 4 Sonoma State 13-5 13-5 5 Central Washington 12-9 12-8 6 Chaminade 12-5 11-5 7 Alaska Anchorage 12-8 10-7 8 Humboldt State 11-8 10-7 9 Alaska Fairbanks 11-8 10-8 10 Seattle 11-9 10-9 Tommorrow I will post the scores for the games from the GNAC that are important to the Broncos. |

on thursday, central wash, humboldt and seattle all lose. of the three games western oregon would pull a huge road upset so that game is unlikely so let's assume central wash wins that one. on saturday, fairbanks loses at anchorage, humboldt loses at central washington, and northwest naz gets a huge road win at seattle. that would mean number 8 humboldt goes 0-2 and falls to 11-10 and 10-9 in conference. number 9 fairbanks goes 0-1 and falls to 11-9 and 10-9 in conference. and number 10 seattle goes 0-2 and falls to 11-11 and 10-11 in conference. meanwhile our guys go 2-0, putting them 16-9 and 12-6 in conference. that should get them at least in the top eight in next week's poll and perhaps seven if chaminade gets beat. i think we have a real shot but obviously must sweep at home. ![]() | |
