![]() | Broncos Keep Winning, Thrash Gators A lethargic first half that had us losing to the worst team in the conference at home. Good thing for second halves. KD once again could not be stopped, even by that gorilla they had at center. And Neon lit it up again. No help elsewhere, though. The Jacks barely hung on at UCSD and the Yotes yawned through one with the Otters. This probably puts HSU first in region and we should pass SB for second since we went 3-0 this week and swept the season series with the Yotes. Now it's back on the road, and we need a sweep. |

![]() | The Broncos played a bad first half, but the refs did not help them out. Today first half of the game was one of the worst officiating job I have seen in a long time. Second half the Broncos played alot better and was able to open up a big lead. It also show how bad San Fransico is. I guess they only know how to play half of a game. Next week will be another tough road trip against Chico and Stanislaus. The Broncos need to sweep this weekend if they want to keep their chance of being placed in the 1-3 seed. I hope Paul goes up North and podcast the games, but if my memory is correct he did not go up there last year. I know Chico brodcast their game on line, but were might be screwed against Stanislaus. Heck if somebody hook me up with free travel and boarding I will give live updates. |

Jay the Broncos will not jump the Coyotes in the regional rankings because they have one fewer loss in league and in the records. | |

![]() | National Rankings are Out Humboldt is 7th this week, SB is 20th and Broncos 24th. On the national scene Winona just keeps dominating and is 23-0. If the Jacks sweep this weekend our chances to host are likely done. It's very hard to beat a good team three times in a season so am hoping the Otters just might have enough in the tank at the Kelp Bed to get it done. Not likely at the Swamp. As for us, I see a split this weekend. We still have a solid chance to go 5-1 so if we sweep this roadie we might lose the finale at Icardo--though the Runners have little to play for while a high seed could be riding on our outcome that final weekend. Jacks have four roadies down the stretch and we need for them to lose two of them. If they can lose to the Eagles they can lose to others in league play. Also, we might see somebody like the Warriors sneak into the eight seed at 16-11. Neither the GNAC or the PacWest have shown much this year. |
