Broncos continue momentum, 2d in CCAA

once again there was no webcast for fans to follow.

and no game story or box score posted at a reasonable hour.

as a result, fan interest suffers and misses out on what could be the team's greatest comeback ever if things continue this way.

another key victory, this time over sonoma state. that completes the first round of conference play with our men just one game behind the yotes tied with the jacks.

it's a tougher grind on the back side of this league. road games with all the contenders. but this is not the same bronco team that i said was finished six weeks ago. and they look capable of beating anybody.

i only hope bronco fans can follow them somehow.

mr. jay,

sounds like you have some serious issues with the athletic dept. what time is the box score even posted. i usually dont check until the next day. maybe we should start a Paul Helms come back campaign with you leading the charge.

this could be the greatest come back in history. it definitely needs to be played up more. What the hell is going on down there?

What are you gonna do about it jay?

all i can do is talk to the athletic director. he's a good guy, but perhaps the state budget crisis is keeping our webcasts off the air, hall. why we can't get stories and stats in a timely manner is beyond me.

this would be some kind of cinderella story were we to charge into the playoffs and do some damage. right now we are the highest ranked D2 team in the nation with seven losses. if we can duplicate the 7-3 league record on the second half of the schedule we would be 14-6 and would host a playoff game at home. that means sweeping the rest of our home slate and only losing three times to some combination of SF, humboldt, san bern, sonoma.

i think we can do that. this is a team on a mission and that's exciting. angelo has learned to trust his teammates, larry is A MAN that nobody can stop, and if our bigs can keep contributing look out!

this scenario would place us at 15-10 going into the ncaa field, which is one of the worst records ever in the west. but i wouldn't count our broncos out any more.

where is lakdod? his 21st birthday must be quite a long event....

I am back and yes my birthday was a long weekend. Anyways two good wins this weekend. the broncos need to continue to play like this in order to have a chance to make the tournament. I been reading in other boards that the Broncos are the hottest team in the CCAA. Like I said earlier in the season I rather have a bad start like this year than a good stary like last year and disappointed end. I will take 7-3 record for the first half of conference play, but if you look at it the broncos could easily been undefeated because there were in the 3 losses close enough to win the game. Anyways this week like anyother week is important because monterey and SF state are no gimmies anymore both teams went to UCSD and took home a victory. I think a sweep is possible but they cant take the two teams lightly becasue you can walk away with no wins. I agree with you Jay that the Broncos could only lose 3 games the rest of the season. two likely is at humboldt and san bernardino but you never know about san bernardino because we have a nice winning streak on them right now.
