Broncos blown out by Otters, 69-52

imagine BOTH larry and donelle getting double-doubles and we still get crushed by a 4-12 team, 69-52.

that's what happened friday night.

we could locate the ball off the glass and dominated the boards but we couldn't find the basket, and that makes tonight's game at the swamp crucial for the post-season.

the only good news is that the toros upset the jacks in arcata, leaving us in a three-way tie for second place with both the jacks and tritons.

we must win at least three, and preferably four, of the remaining road games and sweep at home to go somewhere, and we have six very tough roadies remaining.

that sucks, man.

now the broncos need a road upset.

it's too bad there's no D2 NIT like we have in D1. the titans don't seem able to overtake northridge for the lead so unless we win the league tournament we hope to dance in that world.

okay i watch the game on the otters website and they played okay for the one exception they could not make a basket. if you can not score you will not win a game. plus monterey been on a nice winning streak. this shows that this year from top to bottom the CCAA is the deppest conference maybe in the nation. i am going to predict a broncos win 65-62 tonight.
