Broncos' best scenario for CCAA playoffs

obviously that would be to sweep both the seawolves and jacks. then we're 12-8 in league and will host a first round game at kellogg.

but let's get real...winning in arcata will be extremely difficult.

so what if we win at sonoma and then lose in arcata? or even the other way around?

here's the BEST scenario:

1. SB splits, 15-5
2. HS sweeps, 15-5
3. SD sweeps, 13-7
4. CPP splits, 11-9, hosts first round game next week
5. SF loses twice, 10-10
6. DH loses twice, 10-10
7. MB splits, 10-10
8. LA can either split, 10-10, or loses twice, 9-11

San Diego needs to have a monster road trip, winning both at MB and SF

we need help from the bottom feeder wildcats and warriors, who host DH and LA. DH must lose both games. LA can split or lose both or even sweep since we own the tiebreaker against the eagles.

SF must lose twice at MB and at home vs. SD

why? because both SF and DH have series sweeps over the broncos. that means we must finish with a better league record than both teams. so unless we sweep this week we must have both the toros and gators lose twice to finish ahead of them as we lose in the tiebreaker rules.

the more likely scenario is that we will play a first round game either at SF or at DH. if so, it's payback time.

I think SB will split and humboldt will sweep. UCSD will be swept. frisco will split, monterey will sweep, dominguez will sweep, LA sweep, broncos be swept and hello 8th seed i hope against san bernardino.

Lakdod, seems like i would have to choose option 2. and that option could get ugly real quick playing humboldt in back to back games. we all know they get home cooking up there but the broncos lack of experience and leadership will come back to hurt the team in tourney time. Hopefull the other coaches take it as a tune up getting ready for NCAA's and give us a pass. Then we will win.

of course we want to get a sweep. then we get home cookin' as a three seed.

getting a home game as a four seed would be extremely difficult but possible as shown in the first thread.

otherwise we will play at DH, SF, HS, or SB if we are swept in a one-eight matchup. the best deal here would be the road game at the torodome since our guys aren't doing motel six again and face a weaker team in the toros as opposed to the yotes.

but then you get into matchups. we always match up well with oliver's boys. but would they DARE to lose in the first round going into the first ever league tournament that they are hosting? i doubt it.

bottom line: JUST WIN BABY.
