Exclamation BRONCOS ADVANCE TO SWEET SIXTEEN!!!
cal poly pride! our broncos won again tonight over the university of hawaii and advance to the sweet sixteen in the dance. jonathan boyd went NUTS with 28 points....broncos 73, hawaii 62...GO BRONCOS!!!

cal poly is in the final sixteen teams
it means poly is in the final sixteen teams in the country.
of of them play in a tournament at the end of the year to determine the national champion. it is called the big dance or march madness.

Red face broncos will beat university of alaska
we got a break, bronco fans...the number one seed got upset so we play alaska on a neutral floor. this is the same team cal poly beat two years ago, 80-76, on the way to the Elite Eight. this year it will be Final Four, baby...and who knows...maybe our first mens national title in history!

i like our team's chances. last time this team went to elite eight they were up against a kentucky team loaded with talent including a 6-11, 265-pound gorilla. this game tonight may well lead our broncos dancing all the way to the title game on CBS.

Gosh, this is so exciting. I must admit, I expected the women's team to be the ones kicking butt like this, but I am super happy for our men's team too!

if you have internet access you can listen to the play by play beginning at 7 pm. there is a link from the university home page. just click on athletics and then listen live. rod and paul do a nice job!

broncos 36, alaska 25 at half
green and gold power...our men have led all the way so far and now lead by 11 at half. twenty minutes to the elite eight!
