![]() | Has anyone here tried using that piece of junk system? I've only been on it for ten minutes and it's already giving me a headache. Now this what I call a true piece of junk and waste of our money. I think we just got duped into paying for a system that only got rid of a lot of jobs and does not work properly. I think we should all email Michael Berman and complain to him since he's behind all this. His email is amberman@csupomona.e du Just tell him how much you appreciate his great job. |

![]() | I doubt the school will change the system since they've invested thousands of dollars to come up with the software system. I dislike the new system when it comes to searching for classes as you will need to log on, click, wait, click, wait and so on. The registration should have kept the old system and came up with a nice interface to make it pretty. The new broncodirect sucks!! ![]() |

![]() | Hahaha this is like the second time you wrote about how broncodirect sucks Ketcham82. I agree, I don't like the idea to login in order to search for open classes. But I really like the option to register classes online. Did you e-mail Dr. Berman yourself? I think the broncodirect is here to say for few years. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is still using the old class registration system Cal Poly Pomona once did. The system is fast and efficient.

![]() | A professor told the class that the Broncodirect system was planned by a group of IT staffs and they did not get any feedback or opinions from students and the staffs. Shouldn't the majority of the Cal Poly students decide whether to upgrade or stick with the current software? One of the main problems that students are complaining is the four digit code number you enter to go to a certain quarter and the search function. 2045 was the code for Summer 2004. No students know where those number comes from. Why couldn't they make a scroll-down list where you can choose the quarter you want to look on? The search function from the previous software was more intuitive.

![]() | If you really get pissed off one day, spam this guy: Michael Berman at amberman@csupomona.e du. Send him some viruses too. I've seen this guy in academic senate meetings and when he used to talk about the system and how "great" it was going to be. Of course, everyone bought it because they had no way to test it. But it's a pretty expensive system that the CSU had to come up with to get rid of a lot of jobs. That's their way of saving money these days. |

| Active Member | I just tried Broncodirect to add my classes stuff, it wasn't too bad. The only problem with it is that it's too slow searching for classes. But adding classes was a breeze, probably took me less then 2 minutes to add and submit my classes that I wanted to take. But the researching and preparation I done the night before took about 1-2 hours mainly because searching function is weak and slow. |

![]() | Thank you for your suggestions on how we can improve BroncoDirect. As a result of your feedback, we are making changes to improve these services for you. BroncoDirect is being redesigned to allow for easier navigation; clearer help information and instructions; and more current and relevant information. We value your feedback! Please help us continue these improvements by providing your thoughts and suggestions to iit_projects@csupomo na.edu What is BroncoDirect? BroncoDirect is the front door you enter to use PeopleSoft, our integrated information system for campus administrative services. Cal Poly Pomona is part of the California State University System 23-campus consortium of PeopleSoft users called Common Management System (CMS). You are currently using the guest page, which includes the ability to view our Course Catalog and Schedule of Classes information. You do NOT need to sign in to view this information. Eventually a majority of the Cal Poly Pomona community will be assigned a BroncoNumber and password. This access will allow them to open the door to additional information and services. Students and other members of the campus community have been assigned roles on BroncoDirect which determine the range of services and information available to them.
