A Special Message to the Cal Poly Pomona Community:

Over the past 24 hours, BroncoDirect has experienced an unprecedented amount of traffic from the university community. The result has been a virtual traffic jam on the site, keeping many of you from completing your business.
The university is working very hard to address these issues, but needs your help. Much like rush hour on the freeways, we need to reduce the amount of traffic online during peak hours so as to better support your needs. We are asking all BroncoDirect users to please try and login during late evening or early morning hours. The lower demand during these periods will offer greater opportunities for success.
Identifying a solution to prevent these challenges during peak times is a very high priority. We recognize the hardship and anxiety this places on many of you. In the end, BroncoDirect will be a seamless system for all concerned.

A Special Message to the Cal Poly Pomona Community (Email):

In response to the difficulties some students experienced with BroncoDirect in the transition of the campus to the new on-line registration delivery system, the last day to add classes has been extended by one day until Friday, October 1, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. The addition of on-line registration and the other services through BroncoDirect reflects the university’s commitment to provide quality services that are responsive to the evolving needs of our students and the campus community. We appreciate your patience as the campus works through this transition period. Students needing additional assistance with adding courses should contact the Registrar’s Office prior to this extended deadline.

An Update for Cal Poly Pomona Students:
Significant improvements in the accessibility and response time of BroncoDirect were made this morning. We are hearing from students that they are having success in registering and conducting other university business online. As a reminder, BroncoDirect is available for students for registration and university business seven days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Please remember the last day to add classes for fall quarter is Friday, October 1st.
