bronco basketball now on the brink

with the coyote, triton and toro victories saturday night we almost must win out to be a high seed going into the league tournament, and we can only afford perhaps one more loss to host a first round game.

right now we very well might be playing back at the torodome in the first round of the tourney, a place that has not treated us kindly.

san diego is surging now. they pounded sonoma and may even threaten the mighty yote empire.

lakdod, you are right. with this loss tonight we must win the entire league tournament, probably all on the road.

i only hope we can keep larry in the conversation for POY. he's earned that.

if the tournament started today the broncos would have to play at humboldt state in the first round. not only would they need to pull a huge upset there, but they'd also need to win twice against better teams at san bernardino.

that won't happen. they gotta catch fire now to get a higher seed to host the first round game.

when was the last time any bronco team got swept by both the gators and toros in the same year? i'll bet it's been at least twenty years and a sign that the glory days are fading away.
