![]() | "Bring Back Paul Helms!!" -jay, sparks hall for another campaign for the books What has happened to the website since Paul Helms left? What has happened to the webcasts since Paul Helms has left? What has happened to the game stories and re-caps since Paul Helms has left? What has happened to stories being posted in a decent hour since Paul Helms has left? These are just a few of many questions that need to be answered ever since Paul Helms has left. Jayandbutton put it best, "we used to get stories posted no later than 10:30pm and now we get them the next day or even after" (not an exact quote) Last night was a prime example, the Broncos won one of their biggest games of the year and there was no post, score, stat or anything til past 4am in the morning!! That is unacceptable for a DII athletics program. Maybe I need to eat my words, and maybe were not a DII program. We sure in the hell dont act like it! With budget cuts coming, I can only see the fate of CPP athletics becoming worse. I mean, look at our website! Is there anyone out there who can lend a helping hand to a struggling athletics department? Better yet, Paul Helms if you are out there, Can you please come back as a free lance writer? Let's start a Paul Helms fund so we can pay him for his services! Any donations, send directly to him over at LA or pay him under the table. GOT PAUL HELMS?

![]() | way to go, hall. i just got back from overseas and noticed that as of late sunday afternoon the bronco athletics website still did not even have box scores posted for either friday or saturday night's games. duh. how much more evidence does one need that we're not getting sports information? apparently some of our posters are alumni and i presume donors. you make the strongest case by voting with your wallets. this has been a down year for bronco athletics across the board, but our hard working athletes should not be disserved by a staff that simply does not do its job. who can argue otherwise? |

![]() | j-man i just checked. it's monday and we still have no stats for the semifinal game THREE DAYS AGO. not to mention the conference CHAMPIONSHIP game? what is the athletic department doing? compiling tennis statistics? or are they on spring break already? here you have the biggest event in the biggest sport the broncos have and you get nothing. i never met paul helms but i know one thing. it's much worse this year than anytime i remember. and you're right. the bronco web site is easily the worst in the CCAA. when they ask me for money as an alum i'll put it in the paul helms fund. |

![]() | Still No Box..? Where's Paul When You Need Him.. How can we go from the elite to almost nothing in the matter of a few years? You're right, our website is the worst in the league jay. We have to really sit down and ask ourselves, what direction are we heading in? We might as well drop down to D-III next season and compete heavily at the rate were going. We can't get the top recruits anymore. Our facilities are the worst in the conference. Our friend jay almost broke his ankle at a basketball game. The stands at scolinos field are a lawsuit away from being torn down. To be honest, a sports website and re-caps is one of the last issues the athletic department is worrying about right now, but in a time like this we want to be proud of our teams. Currently, we cant even be proud if the our own athletic dept doesnt care enough to post box scores, stats and re-caps in a timely manner. Paul Helms would've never let this happen. GOT PAUL HELMS?

![]() | this is one for the books, all right. here we go two years with hall and x-man going at it and then end a long campaign on the same page. way to go, guys. two big fans who could be big bronco donors caring about our athletes first. sure hope somebody in power reads this stuff. i heard from paul yesterday. he says a big "shout out" to all of you. (sound familiar from his famous webcasts we all remember so much?) says he misses doing bronco webcasts and says because of us he always worked hard to get stats posted every night before 10 pm, not 3-4 days later like the current sleepy standard we now deplore. paul also says to stop by and say hi when bronco baseball, challenging for the league basement once more, play the eagles here. hall, please warn him not to sit in the seats that have been declared dangerous, okay? |

![]() | I did the same a while ago, pretty much summing up the condition of our facilities and was asking if they have anything planned in the near future. But I never got a response. Hopefully with you guys as donors asking, they'll look more into it |
