i am beginning to wonder if paul helms is making these internet broadcasts up because they are getting more thrilling with each passing game.

as if jboyd's clutch trey wasn't enough excitement for one weekend here we go again, paul. you either have a very active imagination or OUR BRONCOS are the cadiac kids.

this time it's billy hoffman, the littlest guy on the team, what 150 pounds soaking wet, slipping through five guys with the shot clock almost expired and scoring off a left handed reverse layup to give the poly five another breathtaking 63-62 nailbiter over cal state los angeles.

first it's dion.
then jboyd.
now hoffman.

this is a team on a mission. what a time to get hot.

and melvyn awakened to a 14-point, 8 rebound nite, with the biggest guy on the team, K.D., adding major points and boards.

i think it's time to start believing in this team again, fans. they are for real.

I just got back from the games Helms is not making it up. That was a great game to watch. I could not believe that Billy made the lay up and did with the shot clock running down. the Broncos played some tough defense near the end. It was not for the defense at the end they would of lost. I do not know if Helms mentioned it but LA thought they got fouled or made the basket at the end I do not remember right now but all I know is that time was at 0 and did not count. Even though they won I got to be a bit critical. There free throw shooting plain suck again. You know its bad when JBoyd misses 2 in a row.

Women's team pulls the upset and defeat LA. The women's team is probally one of the most inconsistent team in the nation.

Next week Broncos travel to Chico and Stanislaus which both teams beat San Bernardino at home.

i just got home from the game, too. i am drained.
we had a nice crowd over there, the band, lots of jocks from volleyball and soccer and other teams, a few greeks and geeks, etc. i bet we had as many fans in their gym as they had. these two road game thrillers are gonna create quite a buzz all over campus, that's for sure. if they keep this up they won't need to make up a pack the gym nite, the student body will just show up because these games are way more exciting than any club or even party around here.

yeah, free throw shooting sucked again. i mean, how hard is this guys? but it's all about winning so let's keep supporting this team. so glad to see melvyn play well along with daniels. as JB sez every game is another guy stepping up with the game on the line. amazing!

btw, i heard that coach k's dad had a heart attack and that's why he missed the game.

What is wrong with the people doing the rankings for the West Region. Have they heard yet that the Broncos beat both Sonoma State and Bakersfield the last two weeks. With two big wins against the 3 and 4 rank team the Broncos can not make the top 10 in the West Region. They must be putting it on the team for losing to UCSD , Dominguez, and Chico.Broncos have a better reccord than two teams in C. Washington and Seattle who are in the top ten. Hopefully when the Broncos win out they will be in the 8 seed or higher and If the Broncos win out and do not make the tournament in my opinion it can be consider robbery.

the broncos are 13-8. that means they have a better record than every school ranked 6 through 10. who are the fools who show our men so little respect? we just beat number 3 and 4 and have won five straight. i only hope this snub will motivate our troops for this very tough road trip.

the only good news here is that all of those schools six through ten are in the same conference and play each other so somebody has to lose. we have SWEPT the series with bakersfield meanwhile.

this week both alaska schools play at humboldt. either humboldt falls back or they do. also, central washington plays at seattle pacific which means they too should fall back. and then next week there are more head to head meetings among these schools, and somebody will have to fly all the way to fairbanks and anchorage for a long and cold roadie.

if broncos win out they finish 19-8. at least two or three of those northern schools will drop down to records around .500. the only wild card is an arizona school called grand canyon. they are 17-5. if they win out they are 22-5 and no school with that kind of record gets ignored for playoffs.

no margin of error here, fans. we need a road sweep and then home cookin' for the final four games!
