Big win for the Broncos vs Cal State LA

With this win, I hope the Broncos will turn their season around. I was not at the game but from the webcast, it seem that we play pretty good defensively and held the Eagles to a low shooting percentage.

Side note, I also thought the Mark Reinhiller deliver a well commented webcast

Where are the post-game critics???

Why is it that CPP men's bball got a victory and the usual posters have not posted anything? And we call ourselves bronco supporters?!?!?! Or is that we won and no one has nothing good to say? Well let me be the first to congratulate coach k on career victory #143. What career he has put together thus far. Bottom line folks, this is what its about...

Jimmy Miyasaka gets in the ball game with 2 minutes to go. With less than a 1 minute remaining, Jimmy drives to the basket and gets fouled. He steps to the line with the crowd yelling his name and sinks two free throws after sitting on the bench for the entire game and the last month of play. Jimmy is a walk on junior, who is the first one onto the court at every timeout to greet his teammates and give them high fives.

It's about the big picture, life, building character and growing into a man. Im tired of these selfish babies and spoiled athletes who think their stuff dont stink. When you guys are criticizing these young kids, I challenge you to think twice because its about the big picture.

NO ONE DESERVED THOSE TWO FREE THROWS NO MORE THAN JIMMY MIYASAKA! That's what its all about man...

jimmy is the ultimate gym rat so it's great news to hear the fans give him a shout.

i didn't attend the game--some of us really have others things to do now and then--but the guess here is that coach k. lit a huge bonfire under this team. i think we all agree he's an outstanding coach and motivator, so if anybody can bring this team back from the ashes it's him. i predicted a split and we got it. but now we must do better on the road if we want to be in the hunt.

I guess this month I might be attending one basketball game for Pomona because of all of my prior engagment. Al least it will be against San Bernardino. anyways I think it was a good homestand eventhough we split. They play two tough teams that are suppose to be vastly improved from last season. I know the broncos only have 3 wins but they are in fifth place still in the conference tournament. season is not over until they are officially eliminated from post season action. This week will be an indication if coach k and the team might have figured something else. I think they have good chance of sweping up north if they play some good basketball.

the time tested maxim is that if want to contend you must sweep at home and split on the road. with two splits at home so far you're right lakdod...we need a sweep.

acker gym is a very tough venue and a long roadie. i think we have a better shot at warrior gym against a weaker opponent. once again, i see a split coming up.
