Name of Event: Cultural Center’s 10 Year Anniversary!
Date: Thursday, January 20
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. and evening reception 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Location: University Park, evening reception in the BSC, Ursa Major
Brief Description: Join us as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Cal Poly Pomona’s Cultural Centers! The 12-1pm event at the University Park will include multicultural performances, student reflections as well as cake and punch! The evening gala from 5-8pm at Ursa Major will honor student, staff and faculty, past and present, for their support of the Cultural Centers and will highlight the Cultural Center’s rich history and innovative educational programs. Brief Description: Join the Rose Float Club & Committee as we celebrate the culmination of an entire year’s work, introduce the 2005 Officers, Awards Ceremony, and see an exciting Year-In-Review Slide Show presentation. Brought to you by ASI Bronco Fitness Center

Location: Bronco Student Center
Brief Description: Help others in need by donating blood. Get a free t-shirt or Baskin Robin’s gift certificate! Participants must be in good health, 17 or older, weigh at least 110 lbs and have no recent tattoos. Please bring photo ID.



Name of Event: Hip Hop Fundraiser and Workshop
Dates: Wednesdays, January 26, February 2 and 9
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Location: CPP Gym- Aerobics Room
Brief Description: Learn to D’ D ’DROP it like it’s HOT! Join Fernando Estrada, former member of the professional hip hop dance troupe Culture Shock as he teaches you a few steps to burn up the dance floor! An enrollment donation of $15 will get you a 3-session dance workshop focusing on video and street hip hop. All proceeds will benefit Pride Center programs and services. Want more info? Brief Description: The Cal Poly Pomona Music Department is proud to bring you “The Lighter Side,” a Fabulous Evening of Farce, Folly & Fun! Directed by Susan Burns. Featuring Susan Burns, soprano, Janet Noll, piano, Kellogg Chamber Singers Iris Levine, director, as well as vocal students and alumni. Admission is $7 to benefit Cal Poly Pomona Vocal Program.

Brief Description: 14th Annual Unity Luncheon, "Standing Together: Many Communities. One University." Students are encouraged to sign-up through OSL. The first 83 students can register for free.
