Brief Description: The Student Development and Leadership Institute provides education, development and training that enhances students' personal leadership abilities for lifelong learning and success in a changing, multicultural world. Explore how personal, organizational and human relation developments are involved with leadership.


Name of Event: "Old Favorites ~ New Loves"

Location: Music Recital Hall
Brief Description: The 11th Annual Charles Lindsley Memorial Vocal Scholarship Fundraiser, directed by Susan Burns, Janet Noll, piano will feature students, faculty, alumni, and staff. Proceeds to benefit the vocal program. Tickets $7.

Brief Description: Joy Tafarella, VP of the Cal Poly Federal Credit Union, will do a presentation on the value of money. We will begin the session with a fun personality profile test on how students value money. There will be a discussion about the importance of developing and sticking to a budget... and also the 3 Rs of money: Reality, Responsibility & Restraint.

Name of Event: Cal Poly Pomona Spirit Week - Pack the Gym Night
Date: February 6
Time: 5:30pm
Location: Kellogg Gym
Brief Description: Cheer on Bronco Basketball as they face off against Cal State Stanislaus in the Kellogg Gym. Free admission to all Cal Poly Pomona students, a special half-time performance by the ladies of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and an opportunity drawing are all part of the action.
