I live in Walnut, which is like 10 minutes away from Cal Poly. If I don't get my Fin Check yet, the chance of you guys getting it is slim.

i received mine today dec. 28th but i twas only $437.34 ...which was weird cuz i'm suppose to get 1,000 something..i even went online to view my financial aid..and shows that i am suppose to get 1000 something......did anyone have a problem like me? i'm thinking they gave me the wrong amount? or is that additonal money haha

Since they are charing me for insurance, I think I will go more often. I didn't go once in the Fall.

I got mine but only 400 bucks. I'm $1000 short.

I went online and saw that the grant that was suppose to give me $1000 is still pending.

Can anybody relate?

yep me...i only got 437 and im taking 16 units. i thought it was cuz last quarter i took 12 and i got over 1100 i think. but yeah is that why i only got 437?

I spoke with a F.A. representative and she told me that only 2 of my 3 grants were used. The third one (i think the Pell Grant) will be dispensed on January 11th, so maybe some of you may be getting more money.

I don't know how much i'm supposed to get, but i got mine a few days ago when everyone i knew received it before school even started. And a friend of mine who received early got only $10 even his sister and his cousin!!! Kinda weird. Not sure if he got the rest of his Fin. Aid though
