Anyone know when we'll get our fin. aid money

does anyone noe wen we would get our financial aid money ? i hope its not late like last year so we can buy our books early and stuff

From what I understand, financial aid awards are disbursed on 9-12. Since fees are due 9-2, tomorrow, your classes will be held so that they won't be dropped. That's what they said.

my financial aid is at status 'award access unavailable'.
I have recieved a mail saying I've recieved cal grant.
...well...I need the financial aid to help me pay for tuition.....or im

...and I checked also today...no financial aid yet...and I need to make a payment of a grand tomorrow...im so

. So I will recieve financial aid 10 days after it is too late? do we for sure get an extended deadline or do we have to talk with financial aid office(which i tried for the billionth time...they put me on hold for a long time with no reply or a machine simply says 'goodbye' and hangs up.)...please someone help me out...

Gheckt, does your Account Summary say "Anticipated financial aid"? If so, then you have been awarded aid and disbursement is on Sept. 9, and even though fees are due 9-2 they will not drop your classes because financial aid has been awarded to you already. That's what I was told by the FA office and Acct. office and Reg. office. I'm still a bit anxious though.

I hear you about calling the FA office. The wait is long and when you do speak to someone, the counselor just wants to hurry you up and you really don't get to ask all your questions. I've never had the goodbye message :P Usually someone will pick it up only after a long wait!

djork, firstly thnx for your help but I have no "Anticipated financial aid" and under the "Anticipated aid" is a fat $0.00. does that mean I'll get no aid what so ever? but I got a cal grant mail saying I've recieved aid?...im sad...
